Citra is Sri Lanka’s first Social Innovation Lab established as a joint initiative between the Ministry of Science, Technology & Research and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Sri Lanka. Citra follows a holistic and comprehensive process when formulating prototypes aimed at addressing development challenges in Sri Lanka, including focusing on researching, scanning the horizon for similar experiences and developing prototypes which are then tested out in multiple locations to ensure they effectively address all identified aspects of the issue at hand.
We may collect, among others, the following information when you sign up with applications developed by Citra: basic information such as first name, last name, date of birth, email address, mailing address and phone number
Technical Information:When a user accesses an application developed by Citra, we may collect technical information about the user’s device, such as the IP address that requested the display of the application, the operating system type, and the identifiers associated with the device.
Sign Up and Survey information:Any information you provide to us, and any information you choose to share about yourself as part of your use of any application developed by Citra, may be stored as entered.
Cookies:Cookies are text files that we and our service providers may place on your device's browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser. We may use sessions and web cookies to remember your settings, preferences and usage within applications developed by Citra.
Social Networking Sites:If you access an application developed by Citra via a third-party social networking site Citra may receive information about your social networking site profile, including without limitation the information you make publicly available, your social networking site user ID, your first, last and user names, profile and cover photos.
Mobile:When you download or access application developed by Citra via a mobile device, we and our service providers may receive information about your location (based on your IP address) and your mobile device, including various unique identifiers associated with your device, hardware type, the version of your operating system and your activity within games. We and our service providers may use this information to provide you with personalized content based on your location.
We may share user information with the relevant government stakeholders, and as described below.
Application Transfers:When Citra Social Innovation Lab completes the user testing with the application developed with a selected targeted group, we will be handing over it to the relevant implementation body/ government authority. In such transactions, user information is generally one of the transferred assets transferred.
In applications developed by Citra, message boards and/or chat area may be operated where users can exchange ideas and communicate with each other. When posting to a message board or chat area, the information is being made publicly available in an online environment. Any information posted is the sole responsibility of the individual user.
